Once upon a time I w as married to a fisherman. He was always gone on the fishing boat in Alaska . He would be gone at least 9 months out of the year.  Missed holidays, birthdays ect… He told me once that he had saltwater in his veins and lived what he did too much to give it up. Hence, the relationship only lasted 7 years. I held on as long as I could. I felt he loved being out in the bering sea more than he loved me. In fact he did. This is where the inspiration came from. Enjoy.
